Who we are

AEDIFEX SOLUTIONS LIMITED (company no. 17125256) is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Registered office: 80 George Roche Road, Canterbury, CT1 3FG. Information we collect

If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, optional phone number, property location, message and any relevant files or photos. Website hosting and spam-prevention services may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive information through the form.

How we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, arrange an in-person site visit, assess the issue, prepare a written report and provide a quote. If you accept a quote, we use relevant information to carry out the work and meet our legal and accounting duties. We do not currently send marketing emails. Form enquiries are directed to mihai.dinu@aedifexsolutions.co.uk.

Our reasons for using information

We use information you provide to take steps you request before entering a contract and, if you proceed, to perform that contract. We may also use limited information for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, operating the website and preventing spam, where those interests do not override your rights. We retain information where needed to comply with legal obligations.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not proceed to work, we keep it for 30 days and then delete or anonymise it, unless a legal claim or another lawful reason requires longer. Written quotes are valid for 30 days from issue. If you accept a quote and work proceeds, necessary job, contract, tax and accounting records are kept under the retention periods that apply to those records; the 30-day enquiry period does not remove them.

Who may receive it

Website and form services are provided through GoDaddy. Google reCAPTCHA is used to help protect the form from spam and may process technical information under Google’s terms and privacy information. Business email is hosted through the provider for our business mailbox. We share only information needed to operate the site, receive enquiries, provide requested work or meet legal duties. These providers may process information under their own privacy terms.

Cookies and measurement

The cookie banner explains that if you select Accept, GoDaddy may use tracking cookies to measure visits, improve site performance and report third-party integration metrics. GoDaddy says Decline closes the notice without enabling that tracking. Advanced Tracking is enabled. We have not configured Google Analytics or Meta Pixel in the GoDaddy tracking fields. GoDaddy and Google reCAPTCHA may also process technical information needed to provide and protect their services.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to provide a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to some uses, or provide information you supplied in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent where a use is based on consent. To make a request, email mihai.dinu@aedifexsolutions.co.uk with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity. We respond within the applicable legal time limit, usually one month. Some information may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting or legal-claim purposes; if so, we will explain this. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Security and changes

We take reasonable steps to protect enquiry information, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. We may update this notice when our practices change; the effective date above shows when it was last revised.
